Keeping Still

Thanks to Barb, Micah and the rest of the wonderful people at Temple for having us out for their very first Music Fest and Campus Dedication. We had a great time sharing some tunes with many folks who had never heard us play before, as well as a handful of Standard faithfuls. Thanks so much, everyone! The new Temple facility is gorgeous, and it was a pleasure to be a part of this special day.

We ended up playing mainly old and semi-old songs and told a bunch of stories. Here's how it went:
KEEPING STILL
PERPETUAL AFTERNOON
TEENAGE HEART
YEAR 55
CHANGED
JAY-C'S BROKEN RADIO
PEARL OF A GIRL

Here's a look at some of the folks who were there with us:

Michael Danziger (aka "The Funniest Person in Memphis") and our longtime fan Jeff were in the house. Michael's father was the rabbi at Temple for many years, and Michael himself served Temple as youth director for several years after college.

The ever-faithful ladies in Casey's life were there, too. Dorothy's anxious to welcome her baby sister into the world this November.

Though it's still a few days away, the Case of Bass thought today was the perfect opportunity to show off his brand new birthday bass--a beautiful Rickenbacker. Happy Birthday to our "real live suburban rock 'n roll dad"!
