Easy (Like Sunday Afternoon)

We hope you'll join us for a very special benefit show this coming Sunday, April 29th at Neil's on Madison in Midtown Memphis. We'll be playing alongside several other bands and musicians to raise money for the St. Jude Target House which provides a free, comfortable, nurturing environment for children being treated at St. Jude and their families. We'll play a half-hour set at 2:30 (following a half-hour set by the terrific Nancy Apple at 2:00!). Every guest or couple will receive a FREE CD compilation of songs by artists who have performed for the families at the St. Jude Target House. The event is being presented by Vexar Entertainment, which hosts the weekly Target House shows and produced the CD. Speaking of the CD, it features a studio recording of our tune "Back From Little Rock" which is currently available ONLY on this disc! Admission to the show is a $10 donation for singles or $15 for couples (Don't forget...it's for a great cause and includes a free CD!). Hope to see all you locals there!

Here's a photo from our evening at the Target House last June. Ted and I are pictured with our pals from Organ Thief, along with a St. Jude patient and her mother. We were forging our way through "My Girl" for the second time, as I recall, per the young girl's request.

This just in: We'll be playing a Cinco de Mayo pre-party next Thursday, May 3 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at El Porton Restaurant on Highway 64 (near Wolfchase). Fiesta!
